Judina Anna, 35 years old

Date of birth: 30 August 1981.
Kirov.

Diagnosis: Acute myeloblastic leukemia. Though Anna was given a course of chemotherapy, a remission was not achieved. The only chance for her to survive is to have the bone marrow transplanted. We beg you to help in paying for the matching donner, who is to be found in the international inventory. EUR 13 000 should be collected to raise the required sum.

Throughout life Anna helped other people. First, she worked at the orphanage, then — in the community center. She was doing her best to help them, spending her time and effort. She attended further education courses to improve her knowledge and skills, in order to be able to provide the biggest help possible. Today it is she who badly needs help: Anna was diagnosed with acute myeloblastic leukemia, a type of cancer. She will die, unless a matching donor is found as soon as possible and a transplantation is performed. Russian inventories failed to provide Anna with the donor, so the one is to be found in the international inventory. This procedure costs EUR 18 000.

Apart from her work and the people waiting for her help, Anna has a family with two children. Her husband also has a ‘helping’ profession — a male nurse. Their sons, Yegor and Vanya, do not want to accept that their mother is about to leave them. How could it possibly happen that she may die from a curable disease? Her disease can be cured, that is why Anna’s husband becomes increasingly despaired from day to day: what will he say the boys in case of Anna’s untimely demise? That the tragedy happened only because the family were lacking in money to save their mum?

Nowadays Anna is taking courses of chemo, which prepare her for the transplantation. Meanwhile, a matching donor is being looked for due to ‘Advita’ Fund, which managed to provide Anna with EUR 5 000 to start the search. However, the future donor will not come to Anna, unless the rest EUR 13 000 are paid. That is why we beg you to help in collecting the money; it depends on this sum, whether Anna will remain survive or not, as the transplantation is the only way to cure her disease.
