Our daughter was born earlier than expected, but her development was absolutely normal during the first few months. Only 6 months later she was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. Both me and my husband believe that Cerebral Palsy is not a final verdict and that modern rehab programs can help our child to recover.
These days many cities have special rehabilitation centers, equipped with modern training gear and proven methodologies. We know, that the specialists who work there can perform miracles. But unfortunately, their services are very high-priced, which makes them unaffordable for us.
Right now I am not working, in order to dedicate more time to Ulyana’s rehabilitation at home. My husband works at the furniture assembly plant, his monthly wage is 9000 roubles ($300). In addition we receive some disability payments from the government, around 4,000 roubles ($125) monthly.
Sorry to say, but as you can see, our earnings are not even comparable with the price of the rehabilitation treatment of 120,000 roubles ($3,530). We realize that without additional assistance we will not be able to save our daughter and for that reason we kindly ask for your help.
