The Krasnopolyansky Children?s Home

The Krasnopolyansky Children's Home in the town of Lobnya in the Moscow region, is one of the oldest and most impoverished shelters for children in their earliest years. Newborn babies are brought here from all over the region. Most of them come from parents who neglect them due to alcohol or drug abuse, have hepatitis C, or are HIV-positive.

Above all else, the home urgently requires yoghurts and diapers.

Almost every child at the home has a specific pathological problem. They are taken care of at the home and most of them eventually recover, though, unfortunately, not all of them. The staff works mostly on a voluntary basis, in conditions that lack some of the most basic yet necessary things: a nutritious diet, clothes and toys. Above all else, the home urgently requires yoghurts and diapers.
