Just recently the Shamanins family experienced a happy event when Nastya said her first word — Papa. She said it to her dad specifically, and not to any other family member. It is a huge breakthrough for a child with cerebral palsy. Doctors say that Nastya responds extremely well to all treatment and rehabilitation, but even those doctors were amazed she said her first word so soon. Obviously the dad was the happiest person in the world.

Nastya has a chance to become a healthy kid, to overcome the consequences of her illness and be a happy girl. Nastya shows improvement every day. She does need some help though. She needs help from her parents that will support her and exercise with her every day, as well as provide the best treatment. She needs help from doctors that know what she needs to get better. She also needs your help, because the treatment is very expensive and the family simply can’t pay for it.

Now Nastya is expected in Yevpatoriya clinic for a necessary course of treatment. The course costs 84,900 rubles (3,000 dollars). This is the price that needs to be paid for all the words Nastya will learn to say in the future. One of them will definitely be «thank you». Thank you for believing in Nastya and helping her.
